Role Overview:

 

icotec is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Regional Manager to lead growth across the Southeast region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical device sales professional who is ready to transition into a leadership role while remaining closely connected to customers and the field.

 

The Regional Manager will be responsible for driving commercial success by developing and supporting a network of independent sales partners, expanding physician education initiatives, and increasing market awareness and adoption of icotec's innovative medical technologies. This individual will serve as a strategic business partner to distributors, surgeons, and healthcare stakeholders while helping execute regional growth initiatives.

 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Partnering with sales representatives to identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
  • Planning and executing physician education programs, product training, cadaver labs, and regional workshops.
  • Building strong relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, and key clinical stakeholders.
  • Increasing market awareness and adoption of icotec products through strategic field activities and customer engagement.
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Clinical, and Executive Leadership to execute regional business plans.
  • Analyzing territory performance, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing action plans to achieve sales objectives.
  • Attending industry conferences, trade shows, and educational meetings as needed.

  

You should bring the following with you:   

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3–5 years of successful medical device sales experience OR equivalent healthcare sales experience   with a proven record of achievement.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with physicians and hospital decision-makers.
  • Experience working with or in distributor or independent sales partner networks is preferred.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and training skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southeast region and beyond (approximately 50–70%).
  • Experience in spine, orthopedic, oncology, or surgical medical devices.
  • Desire to build a long-term career in medical device sales leadership.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across functions.
  • Adaptable, accountable, and driven to exceed performance goals.
