Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, lead, coach and develop Distributor Sales partners across the Sales Region: Northeast.
  • Develop sales strategies and execute sales plans to drive regional sales performance with the objective to meet or exceed revenue, growth and profitability targets.
  • Have experience and proficiency supporting spine implants in the operating room and be willing to do so for icotec products.
  • Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with company strategy and product launch priorities.
  • Budget responsibility for Territory (planning, controlling, reporting).
  • Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons, hospital administrators and health systems.
  • Analyze sales data, pipeline activity and market trends to inform decision making and resource allocation.
  • Represent the company as required, including attendance at important functions, industry events and public meetings; employee will be required for Company back-up on occasion to assist outside of the Territory.
  • Ensure service/quality reporting and training for Hospitals and distribution of Company goods.
  • Perform all other duties as reasonably may be directed by the VP Sales.
  • Collaborate with internal icotec Marketing, Education and Sales Team members to further develop and cultivate awareness of icotec and product offerings.
  • Job Description does not permit employee to sign contracts on behalf of icotec Medical Inc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
  • 8-10 + years of medical device sales experience, at least 5 years of which are spine surgery.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically in the field.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Northeast and nationally for Society and company meetings (60-75%)
