Regional Sales Director, NW & Rockies

Role Overview:
icotec is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Regional Sales Director, NW & Rockies to lead growth across the northwest and mountain states. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical device sales professional who is ready to transition into a leadership role while remaining closely connected to customers and the field.
The Regional Sales Director, NW & Rockies will be responsible for driving commercial success by developing and supporting a network of independent sales partners, expanding physician education initiatives, and increasing market awareness and adoption of icotec's innovative medical technologies. This individual will serve as a strategic business partner to distributors, surgeons, and healthcare stakeholders while helping execute regional growth initiatives.
You will be responsible for:
- Recruiting, leading, coaching, and developing Distributor Sales Partners across the NW & Rockies Region.
- Developing and executing sales strategies and plans to drive regional sales performance, with the objective of meeting or exceeding revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
- Supporting spine implants in the operating room and demonstrating proficiency and willingness to support icotec products in the OR.
- Developing and executing regional business plans aligned with company strategy and product launch priorities.
- Managing the regional territory budget, including planning, controlling, and reporting.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons, hospital administrators, and health systems.
- Analyzing sales data, pipeline activity, and market trends to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
- Representing the company as required, including attending important functions, industry events, and public meetings, and providing occasional backup support outside the assigned territory.
- Ensuring service and quality reporting, as well as training for hospitals and distribution partners regarding Company products.
- Collaborating with internal icotec Marketing, Education, and Sales team members to further develop and cultivate awareness of icotec and its product offerings.
- Performing other duties as reasonably directed by the VP of Sales.
- Adhering to the requirement that this position does not authorize the employee to sign contracts on behalf of icotec Medical Inc.
You should bring the following with you:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
- 3–5 years of successful medical device sales experience in spine OR equivalent healthcare sales experience with a proven record of achievement.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically in the field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the NW & Rockies Region and nationally for society and company meetings (60–75%).
