We are seeking a motivated and experienced Healthcare Economics & Reimbursement Manager to join our team in this dynamic field-based role. A successful candidate will possess excellent technical expertise in healthcare administration and delivery, facility and physician reimbursement, and health economic value messaging. This role is a great fit if you thrive in both strategic planning and execution. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute health economic, reimbursement, and value-based selling strategies for icotec Medical, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work alongside sales teams and leadership to organize and prioritize customer meetings, delivering value-driven messaging to support sales objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Clinical teams to assess market needs and contribute to the creation of customer-facing tools, economic models, and other reimbursement initiatives to enhance patient access to icotec technologies.
  • Provide education and training to sales teams on health economic tools and messaging.
  • Ensure alignment and compliance of health economic and value-based selling strategies across the company, following legal and regulatory standards.
     

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare, administration, or the medical device industry, preferably with a focus on spine, and a strong understanding of the healthcare economics and the reimbursement landscape.
  • Knowledge of U.S. healthcare policy and payment systems, including Medicare, and commercial payers.
  • Demonstrated skills in account management and customer service.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and experience working successfully in a matrixed organization with various internal business partners (e.g., sales, education & training, marketing, and clinical).
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50% to 60% as needed, with a focus on domestic U.S. travel.
