Finance & Accounting Manager
Role Overview
- Key finance role supporting US operations of our fast-growing MedTech company
- Responsible for end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, combining hands-on operational execution with the development of accounting best practices for the US entity
- Leadership responsibility for a small accounting team. Develop team members to next level.
- Close collaboration with Group Accounting, CFO, international finance team, and external auditors
You will be responsible for:
Accounting & Reporting:
- Own the full accounting cycle, including GL, AP, AR (including collections), payroll, fixed assets, and commissions calculations
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities while remaining actively involved in day-to-day accounting operations
- Prepare financial statements in collaboration with the global accounting team
- Perform and review account reconciliations, including balance sheets, intercompany, and bank accounts
Compliance, Taxes & Controls:
- Ensure compliance with U.S./IFRS GAAP, all tax (Sales/Use/Property and Income Taxes), and regulatory requirements in coordination with external tax advisors
- Lead and coordinate external tax consultants, auditors, and payroll providers
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and processes
Business Partnership & Process Improvement:
- Serve as the key finance contact, together with team, for all U.S. entity-related matters
- Collaborate with headquarters and the international finance team on group reporting and IFRS reconciliations, where applicable
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Drive process improvements and system optimization across accounting and reporting functions
- Contribute to building a scalable, best-in-class accounting organization that supports continued business growth and expansion in the U.S. market
You should bring the following with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA qualification preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a fast-growing SME environment
- Experience with financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and compliance
- Hands-on, proactive mindset with a willingness to work both strategically and operationally
- Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 / AX and Power BI are a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and affinity for data analytics and AI tools
- Strong analytical, structured, and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior management and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership capabilities with a collaborative mindset
- Occasional business travel to our Atlanta office for team alignment and knowledge exchange
