As Director of Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in advancing icotec Medical’s technology and product portfolio, driving innovation in spinal oncology and infection. You will lead the definition, development, and execution of the product roadmap for our full product portfolio. This role calls for a strategic leader with proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing product management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development of icotec’s product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs by collaborating closely with R&D, sales, clinical, and regulatory affairs.
- Lead and develop the product management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and high performance while ensuring alignment with company goals and strategic priorities.
- Define and enhance product capabilities by working across multidisciplinary teams, including R&D, sales, clinical and regulatory affairs.
- Global Key Opinion Leader strategy, management, and execution.
- Portfolio and Indication Management
- Influence stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, fostering collaboration to accelerate product development.
- Oversee the launch of new products, ensuring seamless execution alongside program management.
- Identify and evaluate new data sources and clinical insights to drive product innovation and improve patient outcomes.
- Stay informed on market trends and the competitive landscape to ensure icotec’s technologies remain differentiated and industry leading.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in product management, medical education, or related roles within the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results in cross-functional settings.
- Experience developing and executing a global product management strategy.
- Advanced knowledge of spine anatomy, surgery, spine diseases, and/or Radiation Oncology.
- Surgical and operating room experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving positive outcomes.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel 30% to 40% as needed to support national and global customer engagements, and industry events.
This is a hybrid role (requiring regular office presence) for candidates ideally based in the Greater Boston area or the broader Northeastern U.S.
